Reserve your spotA proper trek, taken slowly. We fly into Lukla, walk the Dudh Koshi valley, acclimatise in Namche Bazaar, sleep in teahouses, and reach Everest Base Camp before climbing Kala Patthar for sunrise over the mountain. I photograph the group the whole way, and we shoot together every morning and evening when the light is good. No previous high-altitude experience needed — just decent fitness and time on your feet.
Main points
Everest Base Camp at 5,364 m
Stand at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall — the classic finish line of the trek.
